The Earth in a new scenario

Scenario 1: There is almost no difference between the population density of a city and a village throughout the whole world. Both villages and cities are quiet. The only difference lies in the infrastructure. Most people live in villages with their families. No distance from family members for the sake of education, job, or anything. Everybody fulfills his/her needs from home. Sounds great! Right?

The condition is the same in one aspect for both our present world and the past world: cities have much more population density than villages. Job, travel, education institutes, medical centers, markets, everything is in cities. Those who are able, prefer to stay in the cities.

Now, is it possible to reach scenario 1? If we look at the current world trend, we can see how everything is turning online: businesses becoming online, government works becoming online (passport, national identity card issuing, etc.), shopping becoming online. One day soon, we may have little works left offline.

The reason why people gather in the cities, in most cases, is doing their jobs. People get a lot of trouble because of their jobs. They may have to leave their family at home or live in a hard place in the city. But the current trend in our world is leaning towards freelancing and online jobs. The employers are also eager to employ workers online. If the trend continues positively, most of the jobs will be online and offices will operate through the internet. This most likely will take us to scenario 1.

There are many freelancers in our country, Bangladesh. Many successful freelancers have a high range of income. If this number continues to grow, almost everyone will move to freelance works and gradually all will start working online and getting things done online. Not only graphics design or data entry works, but also other working sectors will develop online: education sector, medical sector. If these jobs go online, then one day we will not have to keep ourselves busy offline. People go to the cities to study, to get a job, to get medical treatment. But if we do these things online, then there is no need to go to the cities. People will gradually become villagers. How lovely! Villages are online, quiet, fresh, and with the love of relatives.

The world is changing fast. InshaAllah we might see scenario 1 soon enough. There will be a combination of peace and ease in the world.

3 reasons why you should use cloud storage

Image source: comparitech.com What is cloud storage? Cloud storage is an online service that allows you to store your data (documents, pictures, music, etc.) in an ex-situ online server. The cloud service provider has the full responsibility to keep your data safe.  Some cloud storage services: Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, etc. Storage is an important hardware for our digital devices: pc, laptop, smartphone, etc. Every one of these devices has a built-in storage. Now the question is: despite having a nice, working, built-in offline storage in your device, why do you need to use another online storage? Here are 3 reasons why everyone should have a cloud storage account You don't know when an accident may happen. Suppose you are sitting beside a window in a public bus. You are talking with your best friend over a call. Suddenly, .................  your phone slipped off your fist. You started shouting to stop the bus. You got off the bus, then found your loving smartphone broken.

5 Lessons from my first business

My first business project was very simple: I bought a pile of A4 pages, then sold at 10 pages/5 BDT rate. Although it was a very small business that lasted for a very small amount of time (roughly 1 month maybe), I learned a lot from that. I am making a list of which I've learned from the business. 1. Observe your surroundings: A great business opportunity might be just near you, but you are not aware of it. 2. Keep the product source stable , or you will lose the business. So, make sure the supply is continuous, not interrupted 3. Market and promote your product/service. Use nice banners, posters, and brochures. Attach the posters in the right places, and supply the brochures to the right people. 4. Don't reveal your special product's source to anybody else , or your monopolistic business will be hampered. 5. If the source is cut off or lost, remove your posters and banners. Because you will achieve a bad impression if you cannot supply your products to your customers w
